Peter A. Brown

Peter Brown is the founder of Brown Legal and one of Massachusetts’ leading litigators, recognized for his experience in complex appellate, business, and municipal litigation. Known for his strategic, results-driven approach, Peter represents clients in high-stakes disputes at both the trial and appellate levels, combining meticulous legal analysis with practical advocacy to achieve successful outcomes.

Peter has represented clients in a broad range of complex litigation and appeals before state and federal courts throughout the United States, as well as in specialized tribunals including FINRA, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). His experience also extends internationally, having litigated matters before the Bombay High Court of India and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Peter earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, where he served as a member of the Suffolk University Law Review and was selected as a Rappaport Fellow. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
